Boots, Buckles & Big Generosity! 

The WA Foundation Blacksmiths ’n Boots Gala delivered a memorable, record-breaking night thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community.

Families, sponsors, and supporters contributed over $498,000 to benefit Westlake Academy teachers and students!

Here’s how your generosity will make a difference across campus, including:

• WA Modern Sport Court – fully funded at $157,000 to create a dynamic new space for recreation, athletics, and community connection.
• Teacher Gift Card Initiative – up to $120,000 to give $1,100 in gift cards to every WA teacher and staff member so they can purchase classroom and workstation essentials without dipping into their own pockets.
• Teacher Grant Fund – up to $75,000 available to support innovative programs, cutting-edge resources, and professional development experiences.

What an amazing feeling it must be for our teachers, knowing they are backed by such a supportive community, one that believes deeply in setting them up for success as they deliver the IB curriculum in a truly world-class way.

The Foundation also extends our sincere thanks to the Town of Westlake and WA communications teams! These folks were instrumental in helping us share Gala info so the community could stay informed and ready to support WA.
