Get ready for one of Westlake Academy’s premier events—WA Foundation Gala! This year’s theme, “Night at the Improv,” will feature entertainment by Four Day Weekend, voted “Best Comedy Club” and named “Best Entertainment Experience in Texas.” It’s a night of FUNdraising you won’t want to miss!
Whether you sponsor, donate, bid, attend or simply celebrate, know that every dollar raised at the Gala goes directly toward academic programming, professional development, teacher grants, and the Teacher Gift Card Initiative—plus this year’s “love-to-have” Academy project: furniture for indoor and outdoor “Student Hubs.”
Since our first benefit auction (formerly Gallery Night), donors have funded over $2 million in grants and high-impact projects—supporting everything from buses to weight room equipment to science labs and more.

What is the WA Gala?
Held each Spring, the Westlake Academy Gala is the Foundation’s signature event dedicated to raising funds to support the school’s most important asset – our teachers! Thanks to these best-in-class professionals, WA students consistently exceed world IB averages, and their academic performances perennially place WA in the Top 1% of U.S. high schools.
All net proceeds from the Foundation Gala directly support academic programming, professional development and teacher grants as well as an Academy “love-to-have” project, known as the “Fund-an-Item.” This extra-special project is typically valued in the $100,000 – $125,000 range. Annual fund-an-item requests have included new school buses, security initiatives, weight room & athletic equipment, SmartBoards, and the Teacher Gift Card initiative ($1,100 in gift cards for every teacher and staff member).

The World at Westlake Gala Recap: A Night of Generosity and Celebration
On Saturday, April 27th, the Westlake Academy community came together for an unforgettable evening at "The World at Westlake" Gala. Held at The Westin in Southlake, this year’s benefit auction celebrated the Academy’s 20th Anniversary and raised an incredible $250,000 to support our favorite IB school!
Sponsorships totaled over $100,000, which more than covered event expenses and ensured that every dollar raised at the Gala would be directly invested in our dedicated teachers. To each of our 41 generous sponsors, we extend our deepest appreciation for your wonderful support! We are especially grateful to our presenting sponsor, Fury Athletix, for your continued leadership commitment to WA.
