Ways to Get Involved

There are several volunteer opportunities at Westlake Academy. Follow the steps below to get started.

Westlake Academy Foundation

Westlake Academy Foundation (WAF) serves as the fundraising arm for Westlake Academy. The WAF works to raise the necessary funds for operations, curriculum, teacher training, equipment, technology, etc.

As we look to the next five years, the Foundation Board will focus on building endowment funds to $5M and strengthening corporate partnerships to support the Foundation's mission and the educational goals of the Academy. With the support and involvement of current and future donors, including members of a newly established alumni association, the Foundation will continue the tradition of providing funds to ensure that Westlake Academy remains an institution of academic rigor and excellence.

House of Commons

The purpose of the Westlake Academy House of Commons is to BUILD, SERVE and SUPPORT the Westlake Academy community and foster a first-class education for all Westlake Academy students. The Westlake Academy House of Commons (HOC) hosts several events and offers support or funds to many endeavors during the school year. Our parent volunteers make all of this possible.

Westlake Academy Booster Club

Parents are an integral part of the success of Westlake Academy. Parental involvement in student activities, sporting events, and school functions is the best way to experience the richness of the Blacksmith community and to actively participate in the educational support of your student.

If you wish to get involved with the Blacksmith community of volunteers, but are not sure where you fit, we can help! Regardless of your time commitment or availability, we have a place for anyone who wants to volunteer.
