Westlake Academy Athletic Executive Committee

The Westlake Academy Athletic Executive Committee (AEC) is appointed by the Director of Athletics and exemplifies grass roots control at its best. The AEC acts on proposed athletic policies and procedures, administers and enforces the rules, and considers violations of the Student-Athlete Discipline Agreement. The Committee has original jurisdiction over all athletic eligibility questions on the Westlake Academy campus. The responsibilities of the AEC are patterned after the UIL system of committees to assist in the identification and regulation of athletic policy and procedure and promote transparency within the athletic program.
