Creighton Hulse joined the Westlake Academy MYP/DP Family in 2017 where he teaches Spanish. He grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in Foreign Language Education. After teaching two years in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he moved to DFW to be with his wife, Amanda. He taught for three years at Coppell High School. After Coppell, he moved to Suzhou, China and taught English for two years followed by a teaching assignment at a public charter school in Massachusetts whose motto, mirroring ours at Westlake Academy, is “IB for all.”
Mr. Hulse and his wife Amanda moved back to Texas in 2016 so they could have their newborn, Ramona, closer to family. In his spare time, Mr. Hulse enjoys cooking and travel.
