Glenda Lloyd received her Batchelor’s degree from Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana. She is certified to teach first-twelfth grades. After teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th English, math and humanities for 20 years in Bossier Parish, she obtained SPED certification from NSULA and served as Lead Teacher for the department for 7 years. In 2015 following retirement, she moved to Keller and joined the SPED staff at Westlake as a teacher assistant allowing her to maintain a connection with her passion for educating. She enjoys the opportunity to continue to develop an understanding and appreciation of the IB World School philosophy on a daily basis.
In her spare time Glenda enjoys traveling, vacationing at the beach or mountains, sewing window treatments, and especially spending time with her four children, Cole, Wade, Lauren and Sutton. Favorite weekend events include attending the sports activities of her six grandchildren
