Aurora Morales was born and raised in Monterrey, México, and graduated from the prestigious Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication. Señora Morales started her teaching career in 1998 at Colegio Fray Margil de Jesus in Monterrey, where she taught English as a Second Language. She left Monterrey in 2001 when she married her husband Carlos and moved to the DFW area to start her new life and her career teaching Spanish as a Second Language.
Her experience with the International Baccalaureate began in 2002 at the North Hills Preparatory School where she taught all levels of Spanish.
Señora Morales began teaching at Westlake Academy in 2009 and is currently teaching Spanish DP (HL and SL). She also is the department chair for the Foreign Language Department.
In 2013 she was honored with the Teacher of the Year award. She and her husband live in North Richland Hills with their daughters, Carla and Juliana, who attend Westlake Academy. In her spare time, Señora Morales loves to travel.
