Below you find information and links to take you to all the places you need to go to get your students ready for the first day of school. Important Dates - Mark Your Calendar!
August 2 - G6 Orientation in the Performance Hall - a meeting for new Grade 6 students and their parents to learn about MYP, 9-10:30
August 13 - PYP Back to School Night (6-7:30)*
August 14 - Secondary Back to School Night (6-7:30)*
August 15 - First day of School (school hours are 7:55 - 3:10; 7:55 - 2:00 for Kindergarten students until 9/5/18)

School supplies/lists – for Grades K-5, we offer pre-packaged school supplies through EPI. The deadline to order/cancel an order is June 17th.* Click here and enter the Westlake Academy school code: WES794. Remember to choose your student's grade level for NEXT school year. All K-Grade 5 packs include everything needed for the year (school supplies will be shipped to you the week of 7/30; kleenex, clorox wipes and paper towels will be shipped directly to school). This service is managed by the HOC so if you have any questions, please contact Kimberly Gardner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
*A Shipping fee of $8.00 will be added at checkout. Please print and keep a copy of your confirmation as your receipt.
Take Steps to get ready for Registration
Registration will officially take place the first week of August. To make this year’s Registration Process as smooth as possible, please review the information below.
If you have moved, be sure that you have changed your address on your identification. When you register your students in August, your utility bill MUST match the address on your driver’s license. If you haven’t done this yet, click here to do it online – it’s quick and easy.
Are you able to access TXCONNECT?
Everyone has one, and it’s important that you know how to access it. It is your gateway to registration, emergency contacts and accessing your High School student’s grade reports.
There are two reasons why you may need additional help with TX Connect.
#1 – Help! I can’t access my account. Don’t worry!
#2 – I’m so proud – I got in but now that I’m here, I don’t see all of my students… Again, don’t worry!
In both of these cases, all you have to do is email Ange at email@example.com and she will assist you! Please do not set up a new account as this can “confuse” the system.
We are pleased to share our new uniform policy with you for the coming school year. We have made every effort to make the policy as simple as possible. In addition, we are adding a new uniform provider, Ivy, to our list of vendors. They are conveniently located in Colleyville - please see below for their hours and address. Medical Requirements – do you have a student entering Grade 7?
Grade 7 students require two additional immunizations – Tdap booster and Menincoccal. There are two ways that we can access this information: if your Doctor utilizes the Immtrac2 system (the official Texas Immunization Registry) we can access your student’s records once they are loaded by your Physician. Another option is to bring a printed copy of your student’s records to the school during registration. Proof of immunization is required prior to the first day of school.
Do you think you may want to volunteer at Westlake Academy? Go on a field trip? If you think you might, please click here to complete the mandatory background check. This is a requirement of all volunteers and must be completed once per year. Doing it now will ensure that you will have the clearance you need right when you need it!
All athletes are required to have a sports physical each year. We offer sports physicals on campus for your convenience. This year, Dr. Brad Griffin will be at the Sam and Margaret Lee Fieldhouse on August 14th from 2-5. No appointment is needed. Cost is $20 per person (checks or cash only please).
