Financial Transparency
Westlake Academy is committed to transparency and strives to provide our stakeholders with clear and relevant financial information. While supporting the financial needs of the Academy, we strive to operate in a fiscally responsible and efficient manner as we provide the necessary resources for the education of our students.
As an open-enrollment charter school, Westlake Academy is held accountable by the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas: Charter School-School FIRST for the quality of our financial management practices and performance in the management of the Academy’s financial resources. This system is designed to encourage Texas public schools to manage their financial resources efficiently to provide the maximum allocation possible for direct instructional purposes.
The salaries of the Town of Westlake's shared services employees for the municipal and academic operations, do not come out of the school's budget but are fully paid for through the municipal budget.
