- Learning Commitment (August, 2010): This document states a commitment to the IB Learner Profile and the types of behaviors and outcomes we must all manifest as a learning community to maximize students' learning experiences at Westlake Academy. For that reason, we are requesting that all our parents read this Learning Commitment document, and by their signature, make a personal commitment to their student, our teachers, and the school. Additionally, students (grades 5-12) and faculty are required to read and sign this Learning Commitment and by doing so, pledge to aspire to make Westlake Academy the type of IB charter school we all desire it to be.
