Campus Leadership Team
Campus Leadership Team
The Campus Leadership Team was created to facilitate communication between the four major stakeholders in Westlake Academy: the students, teachers, parents, and community members. We are strictly an advisory committee. Our job is to examine issues that might affect Westlake Academy’s success, suggest ways to deal with those issues, and communicate our findings to the relevant Heads of Section, Chief Executive Officer, and/or the Board of Trustees. For example, in the 2007-2008 school year we helped the school administration develop policies aimed at facilitating the transition of new students and families into the Westlake Academy community, and during the 2008-2009 school year, we discussed ways to strengthen Westlake Academy’s relationship with the larger community.Member of the campus leadership team are elected to a two-year term. We will be seeking new members for the team in August 2009.
