About the Foundation
Mission Statement: Westlake Academy Foundation exists to raise funds for the Operations, Capital Projects, and Endowment Needs of Westlake Academy.
Westlake Academy Foundation was established to help meet the far-reaching educational goals of the academy by raising the funds necessary to fill the void created by state funding limits. Thanks to generous contributions from families, corporations, foundations, and philanthropic organizations, the Foundation funds advanced teacher training and education; a broadening IB curriculum; and advanced technology and equipment.
Westlake Academy Foundation has also recently completed a $5.1 million capital campaign to build and equip space for advanced science laboratories and art classrooms. The Sam & Margaret Lee Arts & Sciences Center provides essential space to accommodate the growth of the Westlake Academy through the 12th grade.
The Westlake Academy Foundation is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) entity. Charitable contributions can be made to the Westlake Academy Foundation to benefit the school. Support of the Foundation represents an investment in a model for the 21st century Texas public school education and the students who are our leaders of the future.
